The problem
The boiler locks out, produces no hot water, shows an error code or loses pressure: these are the most frequent reasons an intervention is requested.

Safe checks you can make before calling
- Check that the dedicated electrical switch is on.
- Make sure the gas valve is open.
- Read and note the error code shown on the display.
- Check the pressure gauge reading (usually between 1 and 1.5 bar with a cold system).
- Check the temperature set on the programmable thermostat or remote control.
